Enabling further growth

Established over forty years ago, Quantum Profile Systems Limited is an independent company that manufactures specialist building products.

The business has grown significantly over the last five years and the company now has a client base of distributors and manufacturers across the UK and Ireland.

They moved their banking relationship to Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking after becoming frustrated with their previous bank.

We switched to Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking after becoming frustrated with our previous banking partner, and the service the relationship team provided throughout the process of purchasing the premises has been invaluable.

funding for lending

The Oldham-based manufacturing company has taken a leap forwards and expanded its business after receiving a six-figure loan through the Funding for Lending Scheme (FLS).

We also introduced the company to FW Capital which backed them with a six-figure loan from The North West Fund for Loans Plus to help buy their property.

A new extension, which will be constructed over the next 18 months, will contain new machinery to increase production capacity and capitalise on a rise in product demand.

As a result of the expansion, turnover is expected to increase by at least 50% over the next four years.

Our relationship director was always on hand to provide guidance throughout the process as well as introducing us to FW Capital to ensure that we received a funding package that suited our specific business needs.

SME Charter

We are the biggest net lender to SMEs (small and medium sized enterprises) through the government Scheme and we were also the first bank to access funding from it, underlining our commitment to Helping Britain Prosper.

Through our SME Charter we have made a commitment to grow lending to SMEs by £1bn net for 2014. The Charter builds on the commitments first set out by the Group in 2009, and is focused on helping SMEs seize opportunities for growth, as part of the Group’s stated aim of helping Britain prosper.

We want to ensure that the terms on which we lend to our SME customers are fair and clearly understood; that they have access to affordable finance; and that we are providing the right support to help these businesses grow.
