Money for Life is Lloyds Banking Group's £4 million financial capability and personal money skills programme, targeted at the Further Education, Adult and Community Learning sector across the UK. We are providing tutors, practitioners and support workers with the skills they need to talk confidently about money management, and to support their learners to stay out of debt and save for the future.
Money for Life is proudly supported by Lloyds Banking Group through its Lloyds TSB, Bank of Scotland and Halifax brands. We are working together with skills organisations in the four nations of the UK to promote and support financial capability training.
Through this programme we’re seeking to:
Money for Life provides the training and resources to enable those interested in financial capability training for FE institutions and community groups to gain one of two accredited qualifications in Adult Financial Capability and Developing Adult Financial Capability. Both qualifications are accredited by the Open College Network in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) in Scotland.
Money for Life aims to deliver vital financial capability learning where it is needed most. It equips practitioners across the UK with tailored resources to improve their confidence and knowledge of financial capability and enables them to pass on that knowledge to FE learners.
