Underscoring its commitment to invest in the long-term economic future of the UK and give back to the communities in which it operates, Lloyds Banking Group has today announced a further four universities that have joined the Lloyds Scholars programme.
António Horta-Osório, chief executive of Lloyds Banking Group, said:
"When we launched the Lloyds Scholars pilot last year we gave a commitment to grow the programme and expand to more of the UK’s top universities. Tonight we are celebrating the expansion of the Lloyds Scholars programme from two to six of the very best universities in Britain.
"We have developed the programme to give undergraduates all-round professional and vocational experience. We also ask our Scholars to volunteer in their local communities during the academic year to support the Group's wider commitment to support UK communities."
