Stronger Scottish economic growth expected in 2008

Latest data from the Bank of Scotland Index of Leading Economic Indicators suggests that Scottish economic growth is expected to remain subdued for the rest of 2007. However, economic growth should pick up in 2008, rising above it’s the long term average in the first quarter and potentially strengthening further mid year.
