New research from Bank of Scotland reveals that million pound property sales in Scotland rose by 138% in 2007, far outstripping the 3% rise in total property sales over the year. However, million pound properties accounted for just 0.2% of all Scottish property sales in 2007. 343 million pound properties were sold in Scotland in 2007, up from the 144 sold in 2006. Total million pound property sales in Great Britain rose by 36% in 2007 to 8,257.
