We are, first and foremost, a bank for retail and business customers.

Our branches are at the heart of communities, serving the financial needs of over 30 million customers.

That is a great responsibility, and one that we take very seriously. We also know that the success and sustainability of our business is linked to the prosperity of those communities.

Our starting point is to focus on providing good value and transparent products and services. This is supported by our active community investment programme.

We invested £85 million last year in grassroots charities, financial inclusion and capability and sports for young people.
