SALARY: £39,825 - £44,250
LOCATION(S): Edinburgh, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Halifax
HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least
two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

Are you a curious, creative, and organised individual with a passion for finding and sharing stories? Do you have a keen interest in news, current affairs, and the world of consumer retail banking? Do you have experience in internal communications, media relations, public affairs, or digital and social media?
If so, we have a brilliant opportunity for you to join our Group Corporate Affairs team as an Assistant Communications Business Partner supporting our Consumer Relationships business.
You’ll work across the iconic brands of Lloyds, Halifax, Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Banking Group, supporting communications that span our mobile, digital, branch and telephone banking activities, alongside customer services, mass affluent and wealth, and our everyday banking propositions like current accounts and savings.
You'll work closely with leaders, crafting compelling communications, and making substantial contributions to our organisation's growth and mission. If you’re ready to take on your next communications role in a business that’s transforming, continue reading!
No two days are the same, but here’s an idea of what you might get up to …
Start the morning off with a collaborative thinking session with your colleagues. Together, you discuss upcoming initiatives, proposition launches, and critical communication opportunities. Feel motivated as you share ideas and insights, helping to build a communications strategy and plan.
Next, you dive into crafting an engaging agenda for a live broadcast that will launch to thousands of colleagues. You work closely with leaders, understanding their vision and translating it into a captivating storyline.
With your excellent attention to detail, you ensure that the flow of the broadcast is flawless, coaching speakers on their presentation style and incorporating visual elements that will make everyone sit up and pay attention!
In the afternoon, you meet with a key stakeholder to discuss a new proposition and create a plan that aims to deliver strong media coverage and engages our colleagues.
And, as the day winds down and you catch up on Teams and the inbox, you plan ahead for the next few days ahead. As a small team with a broad and ranging remit, there will be lots of opportunities for stretch and development.
