JOB TITLE:   Cloud Technical Product Owner

SALARY: £73,262 - £86,190

LOCATIONS: Manchester or Bristol

HOURS:  Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in either the Manchester or Bristol office site

About this opportunity

This an excellent opportunity for an experienced Product Owner to join our Cloud Data Platform team in either Manchester or Bristol.  The team architect, create next gen cloud capabilities from Ingest to Insight for use across the Lloyds Banking Group (LBG).

As a Cloud Data Platform Product owner, you will be responsible for

  • building and extending a foundational Data Platform
  • Automate and scale data ingest and transformation workflows
  • Automate user provisioning and drive developer productivity by delivering resilient CI/CD pipelines and bring in new cloud capability and drive self-service

What you’ll need

  • Significant experience in cloud – such as GCP or AWS or Azure Cloud
  • Extensive experience as a Product Owner in running a Data Lake or Data Warehouse team
  • Extensive experience in managing Data Ingestion, Data transformation on Hadoop, SPARK, Dataflow or dbt or similar tools
  • Strong experience in creating and developing Product Roadmaps, Product Backlog and prioritisation
  • Strong Stakeholder Management and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience in agile methodologies, SAFe, tooling and ceremonies.
  • Extensive experience in Product Management

And any experience of these would be really useful

  • Experience in Migration to Cloud
  • Experience in CI/CD, RBAC, Data Loss Prevention, Tokenisation and familiar with data privacy and  compliance policies
  • Experience in managing deliveries from globally distributed delivery teams
