JOB TITLE: Senior Product Owner - Generative AI and Journey Re-imagination

LOCATION(S): London

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time at an office hub mentioned above.

About this opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Product Owner to lead the design, shaping, and execution of an ambitious strategy to re-imagine customer journeys for those facing financial difficulty. This is a unique opportunity to harness the power of Generative AI to predict, prevent, and support customers during challenging times—while driving efficiency across LBG.

You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and design colleagues to deliver transformative experiences. Success will require deep customer understanding, strong collaboration across networks, and a relentless focus on outcomes that improve lives. Inclusivity and resilience will be key as you craft a compelling vision and create an environment where teams thrive.

What you'll be doing

  • Own and deliver a strategic product theme focused on re-imagining journeys using Generative AI.

  • Shape and communicate product vision and strategy, collaborating with platform and non-platform teams.

  • Lead the product roadmap: define and prioritise epics, features, and stories aligned to strategy.

  • Champion innovation and storytelling, advocating for a transformed vision with senior stakeholders.

  • Collaborate deeply with engineers, designers, and business partners to deliver impactful solutions.

  • Ensure compliance and governance across all product changes.

  • Drive measurable improvements in customer experience and operational efficiency.

Skills we’re looking for

  • Product Ownership: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, managing backlogs, and delivering impactful product changes.

  • Generative AI Expertise: Familiarity with generative or agentic AI technologies and their application in customer journeys.

  • Data & Analytics: Ability to interpret complex data sets to inform decisions and measure outcomes.

  • Agile Delivery: Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to shape product vision and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of customer needs and ability to translate insights into solutions.

  • Communication & Storytelling: Skilled in crafting compelling narratives for diverse audiences.

  • Design Thinking: Experience applying design methodologies to solve complex problems.

  • Technical Acumen: Comfortable collaborating with engineering and data teams on technical aspects.

We welcome applicants who meet most of the criteria and are eager to learn.
