Job description

JOB TITLE: Sales Manager – Lex Autolease Corporate Fleet

LOCATION: Manchester

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at our Manchester office.

What you’ll be doing

Looking for a role where you can lead a high-performing team and directly influence how large corporate customers manage and grow their vehicle fleets?

You’ll lead a team of Account Managers responsible for a portfolio of corporate and public sector customers within our Essential Fleet channel. This is a commercially focused leadership role where you’ll coach your team to strengthen relationships, retain customers, and unlock growth opportunities across fleet, EV and value-add solutions.

Working in one of the UK’s leading fleet management businesses, you’ll use insight-led conversations and data to help customers optimise their fleets, improve efficiency and transition towards more sustainable solutions.

As a Sales Manager, you’ll shape how your team engages with customers to deliver consistently high-quality experiences, driving advocacy and long-term partnerships. You’ll also play a key role in balancing commercial performance with strong governance, ensuring fair customer outcomes and sustainable growth.

You’ll create an inclusive, high-performance environment where colleagues are motivated, developed and supported to succeed. Alongside this, you’ll lead change initiatives, embed new ways of working and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to continuously improve portfolio performance.

Why join us?

We’re transforming at pace. Investing billions in our people, data and technology to change the way we meet the needs of our customers. We’re growing, and we’d love you to be part of the journey.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years experience leading and developing high-performing sales or account management teams

  • Strong commercial mindset with experience managing customer portfolios, driving retention and identifying growth opportunities

  • Experience working in a relationship-led B2B environment (e.g. financial services, leasing, automotive, fleet)

  • Ability to coach and influence teams to deliver insight-led customer conversations and high-quality outcomes

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, working cross-functionally to deliver results and resolve issues

  • Experience managing financial performance (e.g. revenue growth, cost control, margin or P&L accountability)

Desirable Skills

  • 3+ years experience within fleet management, leasing, automotive or mobility solutions

  • Knowledge of EV, salary sacrifice or sustainability-led propositions

  • Experience working with public sector or regulated customers

  • Exposure to operating within a risk and control environment
