Lloyds Banking Group scoops success at Moneyfacts Consumer Awards 2018
MBNA has been named Credit Card Provider of the Year for the fifth consecutive year.
The firm scooped the accolade at last night’s Moneyfacts Consumer Awards in London, which showcase the very best products and providers for consumers, and aim to give the UK’s millions of customers a voice in the industry.
Elyn Corfield, Managing Director of Consumer Finance at Lloyds Banking Group, said:
“For MBNA to be named Credit Card Provider of the Year for the fifth year in a row is a tremendous achievement in such a competitive market. These awards are cemented by feedback from consumer surveys, completed by many of our customers, which makes such recognition even more significant and emphasises the great work happening across our business. It’s fantastic to see our other brands recognised by these awards too, demonstrating the strength of our products and services across the Group.”
Jayms Brooks, Senior Digital Marketing Manager for Moneyfacts, said: “MBNA’s serious commitment to customer service has seen the firm maintain an impressive unbeaten streak in this category.”
MBNA joined Lloyds Banking Group in June 2017. Halifax, also part of Lloyds Banking Group, was named Current Account Provider of the Year as well as Current Account Switching Provider of the Year, and was commended for Credit Card Provider of the Year, Remortgage Buyers’ Choice, Student Account Provider of the Year and Online Banking Provider of the Year. Lloyds Bank was highly commended for the First-Time Mortgage Buyers’ Choice award.
