Job Share; Hybrid Working

Job description

Job Title: Senior Delivery Manager

Location: London

Salary: £92,701 - £109,060

Hours: Full-time

Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our London office. Colleagues with disabilities can be supported with workplace adjustments including hybrid working expectations in line with our Flexibility Works policy.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Senior Delivery Manager, you'll play a critical leadership role within a strategically important transformation, owning the delivery of complex, cross-platform change across business and technology teams. You'll provide leadership across multiple teams and platforms, ensuring plans remain aligned, dependencies are managed effectively, risks are identified early, and delivery outcomes are achieved safely and at pace. Using data and delivery insight to forecast performance and inform decisions, you'll bring clarity to complexity while driving momentum across a large-scale transformation.

This strategic transformation for Business & Commercial Banking (BCB) is critical to growing market share by speeding up lending journeys. It improves customer and colleague experience by removing friction from origination to fulfilment. It also enables scalable growth across BB, SME, and MM with automated, digitally enabled journeys.

Working at the heart of delivery, you'll lead cross-functional teams, partnering closely with Product Owners and Engineering Leads to drive execution across multiple platforms. You'll proactively identify risks, remove impediments and resolve delivery challenges to keep momentum and focus on customer outcomes.

You'll engage and influence senior stakeholders across Business, Technology, Risk and Operations, bringing clarity to complex programmes and helping teams align around shared priorities and objectives.

In this highly visible role, you'll balance pace and control. You ensure strong governance and clear accountability and develop successful delivery that crafts meaningful impact for customers and the business.

Why join us?

We’re on an exciting journey to transform our Group and the way we’re shaping finance for good. We’re focusing on the future, investing in our technologies, workplaces, and colleagues to make our Group a great place for everyone, make change happen and challenge the status quo. Sound like you?

What we’re looking for:

  • Significant experience leading large-scale, complex change and transformation programmes, with a track record of delivering outcomes across multiple teams, platforms and stakeholders
  • Confirmed ability to lead cross-functional teams, align competing priorities and drive delivery in fast-paced environments
  • Strong expertise in integrated planning, dependency management and delivery governance across complex programmes
  • Ability to use data, reporting and delivery metrics to forecast outcomes, identify risks and support decision-making
  • Influential leader with outstanding stakeholder leadership skills, able to build alignment and confidently land difficult messages with senior stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving capability, able to navigate ambiguity, simplify complexity and ensure timely delivery

This is a place for you:

Our ambition is to be the leading UK business for diversity, equity and inclusion supporting our customers, colleagues and communities, and we’re committed to creating an environment in which everyone can thrive, learn and develop.

We offer reasonable workplace adjustments for colleagues with disabilities, including flexibility in office attendance, location and working patterns. And, as a Disability Confident Leader, we guarantee interviews for a fair and proportionate number of applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the role with a disability, long-term health or neurodivergent condition through the Disability Confident Scheme.

We provide reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process to reduce or remove barriers. Just let us know what you need.

We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:

  • A generous pension contribution of up to 15%
