Inclusion at Lloyds Banking Group

As a Group, we’re guided in how we do things by a clear set of values. A key part of how we seek to live these values is to create a fully inclusive environment for all our colleagues, customers and communities; one that is truly representative of modern-day Britain.

Getting this right is at the heart of our purpose of Helping Britain Prosper – after all, a more inclusive society is a more prosperous society, and a diverse business is a better business.

Wellbeing

Our framework and approach

Practical tools, specialist and clinical services

Private medical benefit

Our company-funded plan (UK Mainland) and (offshore) insurance provide expert support for physical and mental health.

Colleagues can access digital tools including fitness content, exercise plans, nutrition advice, guided meditation, a digital gym with live and on-demand classes, plus 24/7 nurse chat.

Mindfulness app

The Headspace app provides a go-to resource for meditation and mental fitness offering hundreds of guided sessions covering stress, sleep, and focus, along with an AI-powered support buddy.

Regular use helps reduce stress, improve concentration and strengthen teamwork, making a measurable difference to mental wellbeing.

Occupational health & workplace adjustments

Independent professionals deliver assessments and practical adjustments enabling confident returns to work after all forms of absence.

Employee assistance programme & wellbeing hub

Our employee assistance programme offers confidential, 24/7 counselling, debt and legal assistance, and a dedicated LGBTQ+ pathway.

Our wellbeing hub is our self-service library of resources covering mental, physical and financial health along with guidance on supporting others.

Spotlight: Mental health

We focus on prevention, support, and recovery for everyday mental health and clinically diagnosed conditions.

We work to reduce stigma surrounding mental health by creating a psychologically safe environment and encouraging open conversation, so everyone feels able to seek support for themselves, support each other, and be there for our customers.
