There's a working cafe offering a wide range of hot and cold food, a self-serve micro-market available out-of-hours, kitchenettes with free refreshments and plenty of local coffee shops nearby.

A state of the art sustainable building

The Paper Exchange has impressive sustainability credentials, achieving a BREEAM Excellent certification. Sustainable developments include:

  • Active travel facilities, such as cycle racks, showers and drying rooms.
  • New recycling stations made from 70% recycled plastics and 30% used coffee grounds.
  • Energy efficient building with EPC B rating, LED throughout and an all-electric heating, cooling and ventilation system with a lower emissions impact than older air conditioning systems.
  • A 4,000 square foot garden terrace on the 8th floor with plenty of greenery and a bug hotel made from UK native timber, which provides valuable nesting spots for bees and insects.
  • Indoor live planting for a more comfortable working environment and a green living wall.
