About this opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Organisational Effectiveness Manager to join our Future Ways of Working team.

This is a high-impact role supporting how our organisation evolves to deliver its strategy. As an Organisational Effectiveness Manager, you’ll partner with programme leaders, senior business stakeholders and HR leaders to diagnose organisational challenges and design solutions that improve performance, effectiveness and efficiency.

You’ll play a key role in translating strategic priorities into practical organisation design and operating model interventions—working across complex environments to enhance organisational health and deliver measurable business outcomes. From identifying root causes to implementing solutions, you’ll help shape how teams are structured, how decisions are made, and how work gets done across the business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the design and delivery of high-impact organisational effectiveness interventions aligned to business priorities

  • Partner with programme leaders, People Directors and senior partners to address complex organisational challenges

  • Diagnose root causes using data, insight and organisational effectiveness methodologies

  • Design organisation structures and operating models that align capability, governance and ways of working to strategy

  • Ensure interventions deliver measurable improvements in productivity, organisational health and business performance

  • Act as a trusted adviser, using insight and constructive challenge to influence senior partners

  • Build organisational effectiveness capability by coaching leaders and People teams on tools, frameworks and approaches

Why join us?

We’re transforming how we operate to meet the needs of the future—and this role puts you at the centre of that journey. You’ll work on meaningful, organisation-wide challenges, helping senior leaders shape how teams are structured and perform. With exposure to complex programmes and senior partners, this is an opportunity to build your expertise, expand your influence, and make a tangible impact on business outcomes.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience leading or playing a significant role in organisation design and operating model initiatives within complex organisations (typically 5+ years)

  • Strong knowledge of organisation design, operating model frameworks and organisational effectiveness methodologies

  • Proven ability to use data and analytics (e.g. Excel, Power BI or similar) to diagnose issues and support design decisions

  • Experience influencing senior partners and working effectively in a matrix environment

  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to link organisational interventions to business performance outcomes

We know that great talent comes from many backgrounds. Whilst this job advert may reference specific years of experience, we recognise that skills are developed in many ways, so if you have relevant, transferable experience, we encourage you to apply.

And any experience of these would be really useful:

  • Experience applying organisational health or efficiency metrics in transformation programmes

  • Background in consulting, transformation or enterprise change environments

  • Experience coaching leaders or People teams on organisational effectiveness approaches

This is a place for you…

We offer reasonable workplace adjustments for colleagues with disabilities, including flexibility in office attendance, location and working patterns. We also offer a wide-ranging benefits package, which includes:

  • An annual performance-related bonus

  • Share schemes including free shares
