HOURS: Full time

What you’ll be doing
We're seeking a Senior Product Lead to contribute to the future development of current account banking for millions of customers across Lloyds Banking Group.

In this high-impact role, you'll lead the strategy, development and performance of key customer propositions and journeys that drive growth, engagement and retention. You'll focus on helping customers build deeper banking relationships by creating experiences that contribute positively to their everyday lives and encourage primary banking behaviours.

Working with engineering teams and many business partners, you will balance customer needs, commercial goals, regulatory requirements, and technology opportunities to achieve meaningful outcomes. As a senior leader in the product community, you will develop product capability, foster innovation, and champion a customer-first culture.

• Define and deliver product vision, strategy, and objectives and key results for customer propositions and journeys.
• Lead initiatives that increase proposition adoption, customer engagement and relationship depth.
• Foster progress in essential banking activities, including salary credits, expenditure patterns, and payment of bills.
• Deliver initiatives that improve customer retention and lifetime value.
• Own product roadmaps and prioritisation decisions, ensuring focus on the highest-value opportunities.
• Partner with Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Risk and Customer teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Use customer insight, analytics and experimentation to find opportunities and optimise performance.
• Track and improve growth, engagement, retention and customer value metrics.
• Embed Consumer Duty, conduct and regulatory requirements into product decisions.
• Maintain strong operational resilience and control standards across product delivery.
• Train and assist Product Leads while advancing product excellence and decisions grounded in evidence.

What we're looking for

• Significant experience leading product strategy and delivering measurable customer and commercial outcomes within a digital product environment.
• Proven experience owning product roadmaps, prioritisation and delivery through cross-functional teams including Engineering, Analytics and business collaborators.
• Deep understanding of customer growth, engagement and retention strategies, combined with experience in using analytics, customer insight and experimentation to improve performance.
• Experience working within a regulated environment, with knowledge of risk management, governance and customer outcome requirements.
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing Product Managers or Product Leads while influencing senior partners across complex organisations.
• Desirable skills/experience
• Experience within retail banking, current accounts, payments or broader financial services products.
• Knowledge of modern product management practices including objectives and key results, experimentation based on hypotheses, and customer-centred design.
• Passion for new technologies, digital innovation, and the evolution of banking.
