  • Identify and deliver improvements to operational processes, customer journeys, platform stability and application support models.
  • Understand, define and continually improve IT security controls across Commercial Cards applications, supporting compliance with PCI DSS, operational resilience requirements, cyber security policies and regulatory obligations.

What we’re looking for:

  • Deep technical knowledge of card processing, payment processes and supporting applications.
  • Experience working with Visa and/or Mastercard.
  • Strong understanding of card issuing, transaction processing and associated payment ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to understand and document complex application and infrastructure landscapes.
  • Experience supporting Change, Incident and Problem Management within an enterprise environment.
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and its operation within enterprise security, risk, change and operational frameworks.
  • Ability to analyse technical issues and changes, understand dependencies and communicate their impact clearly.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across application, infrastructure, platform, engineering, operational and third-party supplier teams.
