About this opportunity

Join the Statistical Reporting team as an Assistant Manager and help transform reporting processes while delivering statistical returns to the Bank of England, UK Finance and the Financial Conduct Authority.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivery at Pace: deliver accurate, timely statistical returns that meet regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Analytical Review and Problem Solving: perform robust analytical reviews of complex data and reporting movements, critically assesses trends and anomalies, investigate variances and quality issues to root cause, and clearly evidence conclusions, judgements, and corrective actions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: build effective relationships with stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and data suppliers, clearly communicating requirements, issues, actions, and progress.
  • Risk and Control: operate controls effectively, maintain evidence, identify risks and issues promptly, and support remediation and assurance.
  • Continuous Improvement: simplify processes, strengthen controls, reduce manual effort, and improve reporting quality and timeliness.
  • Change Support: assess impacts from regulatory, system and process changes, support testing, and implementation, and maintain delivery through change.
  • Team Contribution: share knowledge, support colleagues during peak periods, coach others where appropriate, and own your technical and professional development.
