About the Role

Join Lloyds Banking Group’s Marketing Effectiveness team, part of Customer Insights, Planning & Effectiveness within the Brands, Marketing & Experience (BMX) function. BMX is a Group-wide team dedicated to building strong, inclusive, and sustainable brands that enhance customer experience and drive growth.

We’re looking for a curious, data-driven Assistant Manager, Marketing Analytics to help shape marketing strategy through actionable insights. If you love working with data, uncovering trends, and influencing decisions, this is an exciting opportunity to take your career to the next level.

You’ll play a key role in evaluating marketing performance across digital, CRM, and ATL channels, supporting attribution modelling and contributing to marketing mix modelling (MMM) projects. Your work will help turn data into stories—showing what’s working, what’s not, and where we can optimise for better results.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain attribution machine learning models to assess channel performance.

  • Analyse campaign performance across digital, CRM, and ATL channels to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for marketing stakeholders.

  • Present findings in an engaging way to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in marketing analytics or performance analytics.

  • Technical skills:

  • 1–2 years of hands-on Python development experience (data science or ML contexts).

  • Proficiency with Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn) and testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest),

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deploying ML models into production, and monitoring performance.

  • Understanding of digital attribution techniques (e.g., last-click, linear, time decay, multi-touch).

Tools & Technologies:

  • Analytics: Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics

  • Data & Querying: Python, SQL, Excel, BigQuery

  • Visualisation: Power BI, Looker

  • Cloud: GCP, Vertex AI
