Job description

JOB TITLE: Product Manager - Credit Cards

LOCATION(S): Chester

HOURS: Full‑time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, involving at least two days per week or 40% of time in an office. Colleagues with disabilities can be supported with workplace adjustments.

What you’ll be doing

If you’re excited by the idea of shaping a market‑leading Credit Cards proposition for millions of customers, this role puts you right at the heart of that journey. As part of our Product Discovery & Distribution team, you’ll help define how our products show up in the market, strengthen key partnerships, and unlock new opportunities that improve customer outcomes and commercial performance.

You’ll work cross‑functionally to bring insight to life — combining data, market intelligence and collaboration across teams to influence strategic decisions. From managing partner relationships to delivering compliant and effective go‑to‑market activity, you’ll play a key role in driving sustainable growth, improving processes, and enabling brilliant customer experiences.

Why join us?

We’re transforming at pace. Investing billions in our people, data and tech to change the way we meet the needs of our 28 million customers. We’re growing, and we’d love you to be part of the journey.

Essential skills

  • 3+ years’ experience in partnership or channel management, ideally within financial services or digital marketplaces.

  • 3+ years’ experience using data to generate actionable insight, evaluate market trends and present performance reviews to stakeholders.

  • Strong commercial acumen, with a proven track record of delivering value through contracts, commercial levers or strategic partnerships.

  • Excellent stakeholder and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across internal and external partners.

Desirable skills

  • Experience working with Cards, lending, or consumer credit products.

  • Experience using third‑party market data or insight tools.

  • Familiarity with test‑and‑learn approaches, pricing, eligibility or journey optimisation.

We know great talent comes from many backgrounds. Even if you don’t meet all criteria, if you have relevant transferable skills, we encourage you to apply.

This is a place for you

Our ambition is to be the leading UK business for diversity, equity and inclusion supporting our customers, colleagues and communities, and we’re committed to creating an environment in which everyone can thrive, learn and develop. We provide reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process to reduce or remove barriers. Just let us know what you need.

We offer a wide‑ranging benefits package, including:

  • A generous pension contribution of up to 15%

  • An annual performance‑related bonus

  • Share schemes including free shares

  • Benefits you can tailor to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping

  • 30 days’ holiday, plus bank holidays

  • A range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies
