JOB TITLE: Director, Transaction Banking Solutions - Corporate Sales
LOCATION: London
HOURS: Full Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least 3 days per week, or 60% of your time, in the office.

What you’ll be doing: 

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and driven Transaction Banking Solutions (TBS) Director to join our Corporate Sales team in LondonYou'll originate new business with a focus on new to bank opportunities whilst also generating growth within the existing portfolio. You'll lead a focused portfolio of corporate clients within Services, Public Sector and Regions and the Real Estate and Housing sectors with a directive to drive new client relationships through tailored Trade, Cash Management, and Payment’s solutions.

Your accountabilities will include:

  • Deliver P&L targets by growing and managing a portfolio of existing clients in collaboration with the wider TBS team.
  • Lead execution of all TBS products across trade and payments.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and prospects on implementing TBS solutions and their impact.
  • Lead all aspects of post-origination activities and maintain engagement with TBS Corporate and coverage teams.
  • Build strong internal relationships and cross-sell TBS products, introducing appropriate counterparts when opportunities arise.
  • Ensure compliance with group policy and regulatory requirements while managing risk and supporting team performance and development.

What we’re looking for?

  • Demonstrated success in driving commercialisation, shaping strategy, and leading business development initiatives across multiple sectors.
  • A minimum of 10+ years’ experience within transaction banking and a consistent record in securing new business.
  • Excellent knowledge of the external TBS market to deliver valuable client and market insights to management and business partners.
  • Have good people leadership skills as well as being a self-motivator and influencer.
