JOB TITLE: Assistant Marketing Manager – Homes and Transport Intermediaries
SALARY: The salary banding is £40,824 - £45,360
LOCATION: Bristol or Halifax
HOURS: 35 hours, full time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

Our Brands, Marketing & Experience (BMX) division plays a central role in the Group’s purpose of helping Britain prosper. We deliver personalised, data-driven customer communications, build world-class brand engagement, and make sure every interaction feels relevant and human.
Support the management and execution of our intermediary marketing strategy. Assist in driving engagement across intermediary channels in key segments across Transport and Homes Intermediaries, including Black Horse, Lex Autolease, BM Solutions and Halifax Intermediaries. Act as the growth partner to business units.
What will I be doing?
Support the implementation of the intermediaries marketing plan by working in active partnership with key partners across the business to deliver Thought Leadership activity aligned to the Full Funnel plan.
Work with national account managers to develop marketing plans and activity for our key accounts for 2026.
Support the sponsorship and execution of Black Horse events.
Monitor campaign performance and analyse reports to identify T&L opportunities & upward & downward trends to inform in year plan adjustments.
Stay updated on marketing trends, constantly experiment with new routes to market, and consistently understand and bring to bear new data & technology.
Maintain high standards of execution across all campaign work to ensure we deliver against target outcomes.
Demonstrate a culture of strong collaboration, communication, and focus to enable pace of change and transformation.

What you’ll need
Full Funnel Marketing Planning & Execution – Experience designing and delivering successful marketing plans across the funnel, engaging brokers and dealers, and deepening relationships through thought leadership content and intermediary campaigns. Experience developing cross-channel marketing activations powered by clear insight and analytical rigour.
Agile Models of Operating and Fast Paced – Supports agile methods and actively collaborates, linking across various teams and subject areas. Concentrates on essential changes needed to enhance marketing agility (e.g. technology, tools, organizational development, work methods, etc.).
Control Management – Experience managing budgets, workflows, projects, and risks associated with marketing plans. This includes adhering to accurate budget management and showing the work in workflow tools like Workfront.
Commercial Competence – Utilizes marketplace knowledge and a network across the business to make informed marketing decisions for the business area of alignment. Applies knowledge and using data to optimise activity.
