JOB TITLE: Senior Manager, RCSA Management (Unsecured) – Consumer Lending Chief Controls Office

LOCATION(S): Chester, Leeds, Cardiff or Manchester

SALARY: £83,411

HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and forward-thinking senior manager to join the Consumer Lending Chief Controls Office. In this role, through understanding the business strategy, you will be focussed on applying knowledge of the risk management framework in order to support the business in maintaining robust processes and controls that help ensure good customer outcomes.

In this role, you will

  • Manage relationships with risk and control owner teams and acts as their control management SME.
  • Use technical knowledge to analyse, investigate and evaluate the control environment, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Lead delivery of high-quality actionable insight to help drive informed decisions to address any issues identified.
  • Support Consumer Lending in management of risk and control in RCSA which provides quality data that can inform business decisions.
  • Be inquisitive of data and tooling innovation available and help us deliver our ambition of leading excellence in data literacy.

  • Leadership: Ability to inspire and lead a team towards achieving strategic goals.

  • Problem-Solving: Interest in identifying issues and developing effective solutions with a strong desire to test and learn challenging us to do things differently.

  • Collaboration: Working effectively with other areas and stakeholders.



It would also be great if you have:

  • Good awareness of the lending products, policies that apply and systems which are used.
  • Experience using the RCSA system and working with risk and control owner teams.
