  • JOB TITLE:  Mid QA Analyst

  • SALARY: £43,803 -£46,670

  • LOCATION(S): Watford

  • HOURS: Full-time

  • WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Watford office.

About this Opportunity

The successful candidate will be working within Tusker’s QA Team, testing a variety of applications, to ensure new functionality works as required, and existing functionality works correctly Currently this involves manual testing using web-browsers, tablets, and mobile phones, but longer-term we aim to move to a more technical testing approach.

What you’ll need

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of testing complex and integrated web applications.

  • Experience of cross-browser and cross-platform testing using various browsers / mobile / tablets / etc.

  • Commercial experience of JIRA, Confluence, data and matric creation tools.

  • Producing test artefacts (test scripts; test matrixes; data matrixes; test plans; etc.) using various approaches (e.g. high-level scenario through detailed test steps).

  • Experience of API and database testing, with a solid understanding of SQL.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong attention to detail and patience when doing the same task repeatedly.

  • Ensuring you complete your work to a high-quality level and getting the best possible results.

  • Comfortable as a team player and also working under your own supervision.

  • A good understanding of IT technologies (web, database, mobile, etc.)

And any experience of these would be really useful

  • Eager to learn and improve yourself and help to improve the test team.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Strong attention to detail, with patience to do the same task multiple times.

  • Perform work tasks to a high-quality level.

  • Team player, but able to work under your own supervision.

  • Basic IT skills

  • An attitude of wanting to get the best results.
