Job description

Manages output delivery for a substantial operational department by leading others.

Develops innovative solutions by integrating and analysing complex and diverse information sources.

Manages and delivers required outcomes for a portfolio of projects while reporting to senior colleagues.

Coordinates across multiple teams to develop medium-term and/or long-term work schedules that help the organisation achieve its priorities and fulfil its business plans.

Uncovers emerging issues and/or needs and identifies potential causes, related issues, key stakeholders and barriers.

Manages important client relationships with guidance from senior colleagues or oversees relationship management with a group of more transactional clients and customers.

Makes sure that a portfolio of suppliers are delivering required levels of service while reporting to senior colleagues.

Assists in the design and implementation of a compliance programme while ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards by liaising with the regulator and/or supervises the activities of a regulatory/compliance team.

Sets medium term objectives and takes responsibility for implement a team's performance management systems with guidance from senior colleagues.

Takes responsibility for implementing a team's formal development framework with guidance from senior colleagues, while informally coaching others throughout the organisation in area of expertise and pursuing and investing in opportunities for own personal development.

Act as a senior source of professional expertise

Manages and delivers required outcomes for a portfolio of contracts and negotiates service level agreements while planning, coordinating and supervising activities related to major contracts.
