SALARY: £59,850 - £66,500

LOCATION: Manchester

HOURS: Full-Time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week or 40% of your time at our office in Manchester

Invoice Finance is a crucial part of the cashflow solution for many trading businesses and is a growing product both within Lloyds Banking Group and the UK generally. This makes it an exciting area to develop a career within the wider Group. We have an opportunity to join the North West & Midlands Sales Team as one of our Associate Directors, specifically covering our West Coast Region, which spans from Cumbria down to North Wales. This role is perfect for a proven sales performer who wishes to work in a successful part of the Group and can nurture and build relationships with internal and external partners.

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify and deliver high-quality new business opportunities within the professional marketplace.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a range of Invoice Finance products to new and existing bank clients.

  • Self-generate leads and educate the external community about our Invoice Finance and wider SME banking offerings.

  • Visit prospects face-to-face to sell our services and negotiate pricing and terms.

  • Write structured proposals for sanctioning and onboard new clients.

  • Work closely with Client Managers to ensure smooth client relationship management post-deal.

What You'll Need

  • Knowledge and understanding of Invoice Finance.

  • Experience in client face-to-face sales negotiations.

  • Proficiency in the credit and underwriting process and fluency in financial analysis.

  • Outstanding business development skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and maximise business opportunities.

  • A genuine interest in and understanding of SME businesses and their working capital cycles.

  • Strong connections within the local professional community, with a proven track record of using these connections for business development.
