JOB TITLE:  Director, Asset Finance Sales
SALARY: £97,665 - £114,900
LOCATIONS: Manchester / Liverpool (a presence in Manchester is required)
HOURS: Full-Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

About This Opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Asset Finance Sales Director to join our team in the North-West. This role involves managing an existing portfolio of clients and actively securing new business opportunities to drive growth. With a strong regional presence and industry profile, you'll develop strategic relationships and deliver tailored asset finance solutions to Mid Corporate clients (£25m-£100m turnover), playing a crucial role in expanding our client base and delivering impactful financial solutions.


What you'll be doing:

  • Managing an existing portfolio of clients, fostering strong relationships to drive asset finance opportunities and long-term growth.

  • Identifying key prospects through various sources to drive business growth and expand our client base.

  • Driving high-volume asset finance deals, writing c.200+ transactions annually, securing credit limits, and delivering tailored funding solutions.

  • Cultivating strong relationships with coverage colleagues and key business introducers to ensure effective delivery.

  • Leading the structuring of financial solutions and negotiating deals to drive success.

What You’ll Need

  • Strong knowledge/understanding of asset finance.

  • Proven sales experience with the ability to proactively engage new clients, build relationships, and drive business growth.

  • Strong credit lending experience, with proficiency in analysing and interpreting financial statements.

  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with our mid-corporate clients.

  • A strong network of professional connections and the ability to leverage these relationships for business development opportunities.

  • Effective collaboration skills to work within own team and across departments
