About this opportunity

We’re heavily investing in our Everyday Banking products and teams to fulfil our purpose of making finance a force for good. That’s why we need someone special.

The Payments business in Everyday Banking has created brand-new roles and is seeking experienced individuals to enhance our commercial performance. You’ll help us gain deeper insights into customer behaviours and use our data warehouse to drive insight-based business decisions. Using this knowledge, we’ll reward customers and bring value for both them and the bank.

While handling large data sets and building dashboards is crucial, it's about more than just the numbers. You need to pinpoint the key data points, create a compelling narrative, and confidently communicate your findings.

Culture is key to us. We seek someone who is open, collaborative, driven, and commercially minded, with an agile mentality. You should be able to take the lead, be accountable, and champion your work while having fun along the way.

What will I be doing?

  • Designing and implementing advanced data insights solutions to solve complex problems for a variety of audiences.

  • Liaising with partners to understand their needs, converting these into technical requirements, and then creating, developing and delivering solutions to provide them with actionable insight whilst collaborating with cross functional teams including data engineers, analysts and data scientists.

  • Implementing solutions following data visualization principles and standard practices.

  • Telling stories with data and conveying technical concepts to team members.

  • Seeking opportunities to work collaboratively across boundaries (e.g. with different teams, business areas, cultures, etc.).

  • Undertaking data analysis across multiple sources.

Why Lloyds Banking Group

You’ll develop analytical modelling capability to provide deep insight and the use of machine learning and AI techniques to advance our understanding of data and the customer.

  • Business Intelligence & Visualisation – You’ll establish innovative BI and data visualisation solutions for the Group, and act as an expert identifying emerging trends, tools and techniques to enable next generation communication of data/information.

  • Data Analysis – You’ll apply deep data insights to commercial performance.

  • Data Management & Governance – You’ll use your experience to carry out advanced activities for data management, including the reference and inclusion of internationally accepted data governance standards, regulatory requirements and benchmarks.
