JOB TITLE: Associate - Intermediaries, Institutional Coverage

LOCATIONS: London

HOURS: Full-Time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least three days per week or 60% of your time at our London office on Old Broad Street.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and high-performing team that works closely with product specialists across Transaction Banking, Financial Markets, Debt Capital Markets and more. We also partner with key control functions such as Risk and Economic Crime Prevention to ensure we manage our portfolio responsibly and sustainably. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain deep sector knowledge, build meaningful client relationships and even take ownership of your own client set as you grow. Key Accountabilities

  • Support the Relationship Director and Associate Director in managing and growing a diverse client portfolio

  • Help originate new client relationships and transactions, contributing to ambitious growth targets

  • Collaborate with internal product and risk partners to deliver tailored solutions and ensure timely client responses

  • Lead the annual credit renewal process, ensuring alignment with internal policies and risk appetite

  • Prepare client materials including pitch books, briefing notes and meeting reports

  • Maintain accurate pipeline and portfolio data, and identify opportunities to improve team efficiency

What You’ll Need

  • A strong understanding of financial services and the regulatory environment in which we operate, with a background in financial services

  • Experience of working with key banking products such as FX, Payments, Repo and Debt Capital Markets

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong internal and external networks

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and market data

  • A proactive approach to risk management, including an understanding of AML, KYC and credit processes

  • A self-starter mindset with strong drive, motivation and curiosity, showing initiative and a desire to succeed
