JOB TITLE:   Lead Technical Application Specialist

SALARY: £86,964 - £102,310

LOCATION: London

HOURS:  Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in the Londo office.

About this opportunity

An excellent opportunity for a PEGA Lead Technical Application Specialist with a growth mind-set and a dedication to technical expertise to join our Insurance, Pensions & Investments (IP&I) team. 

As a key member of our agile development community, you'll build, maintain, and evolve our Pega capabilities within IP&I, whilst embracing the best industry standards. Here’s where you’ll make a difference -

  • An engaging story-teller, energised by building rapport with all colleagues and partners, to find the common goals to build meaningful collaboration 
  • Line Management of other Technical Application Specialists 
  • Collaboration with Lead Technical Application Specialists across the group, ensuring re-usability
  • Ensuring alignment with the Groups technology strategy (outward thinking) and other initiatives 
  • Collaborating with other LTASs in the lab to knowledge share, build reusable components, and adopt standardisation

What you’ll need

  • Demonstrable experience of managing diverse teams of around 10-15 technical colleagues 
  • Recent applied understanding and familiarity of delivery with Pega applications (v8) 
  • Certified Lead System Architect 
  • Experience of product migrations from on-prem to cloud hosted. 
  • Working familiarity with Jira and Jira Align 

And any experience of these would be really useful

  • Experience of working with Agile methodology and processes
  • Experience of working within a Complex Enterprise organisation
