JOB TITLE: Quality Engineer

LOCATION(S): Leeds, Edinburgh, Dundee or London

HOURS:  Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) at one of the specified locations

As a Quality Engineer who is part of our Intermediary Wealth lab you will help drive our business forward and help us achieve our ambition to become a top 3 player in the market.

You'll play a pivotal role in the future of our product development, shaping the way we design, build, test and deploy using innovative technology. You'll work collaboratively with other team members, partners and third parties to create empowered teams who are motivated to solve business problems and realise value to customers. 

Here’s how you’ll make a difference: 

  • Develop and extend frameworks, templates, and test scripts 

  • Understand and write the test data requirements, collaborating closely with the external teams across the Value Stream and beyond 

  • Write detailed Test Scopes, Test Plans and End of Test Reports, evidencing the quality of the software we ship 

  • Help decide what and how to monitor & alert on for new functionality

What you'll need

  • You’ll have experience in Quality Engineering, preferably knowledge in applications such as Trove, Figaro, FNZ1 Platforms. If you don’t, then experience with testing and integration or introduction of 3rd Party packages/tools would be ideal!

  • You’ll have experience in a collaborative environment, preferably with a proven track record delivering business value through well-rounded engineering methods and principles.

  • You’ll have experience in Agile, DevOps and non-agile quality engineering practices.

  • You’ll have technical and practical usage skills in ALM, SQL, Xray & Data Analyses.
