At Lloyds Banking Group, we’re committed to Helping Britain Prosper and supporting the transition to a more sustainable future. Our Infrastructure & Project Finance (I&PF) Asset Management team sits within the wider Portfolio Management function of Corporate and Institutional Banking. We manage a diverse and high-profile portfolio of complex lending across sectors such as Economic Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, Net Zero Technology, Digital Infrastructure and selected Infrastructure Funds. As the UK market leader in I&PF, we play a pivotal role in delivering the Group’s 2030 growth strategy and sustainability agenda.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing, specialist team as an Associate Director. You’ll be part of a collaborative and dynamic environment, individually managing a portfolio of ~20 clients with exposure typically in excess of £1bn. You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to assess credit risk, find and execute opportunities for income growth and support critical initiatives. If you’re looking to deepen your expertise in a critical asset class and contribute to meaningful, long-term projects, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage a complex portfolio of I&PF assets, ensuring credit quality and timely internal reporting of performance and risk.

  • Lead on client transactions including refinances, waivers and covenant resets, working closely with Origination and Coverage teams.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for capital optimisation to enhance portfolio returns.

  • Monitor financial covenants, adviser reports and market developments to assess ongoing credit quality.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders across the Group.

  • Support strategic initiatives and business projects, including preparation of management information and presentations.

What You'll Need:

  • Experience in I&PF within a financial institution and wider market knowledge.

  • Validated experience in financial assessment, credit analysis or asset management.

  • Ability to analyse complex information, identify risks and spot opportunities.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage client and stakeholder relationships effectively.

  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
