  • JOB TITLE:  Assistant Brands & Marketing Manager (New Business)

  • SALARY: £43,803

  • LOCATION(S): Watford

  • HOURS: Full-time

  • WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Watford office.

About this Opportunity

Working with the Marketing Manager and Director this role will assist in B2C marketing strategy and planning. Identifying the best opportunities for getting direct access to our B2C audience and how we increase engagement. Taking ownership of key campaigns and marketing projects that will help the department achieve KPIs. The role will also need to provide monthly reporting on success and results of B2C marketing activity. The role will also be responsible for supporting our BDM team ensuring they have the right marketing toolkit for their customers. They will work closely with the customer during the implementation stage and for 3 months after launch to identify, build and provide the most suitable marketing collateral for the customer to build awareness about our scheme to their employees.

What you’ll need

  • Design and implement B2C initiatives to increase penetration of new customer launches to ensure customers are engaged and encourage employee engagement with the scheme. Ideally 2-3 years marketing experience, across multiple channels in coordinating / leading projects

  • Creative approach to problem solving and Strong organisation skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills with a strong commercial sense to drive orders and engagement to write, design and production of all marketing material such as flyers, posters, direct mailers and electronic communications for customers

  • Creative, with experience of design using InDesign

  • Great teammate who is dependable with a diligent nature

  • Tracking and reporting on the success of newly launched customers and marketing campaigns ‘outside the box’ thinking to improve awareness of campaigns and provide new insights for engagement with a consistent track record to plan and prioritise work

  • Ability to work well under pressure and assist in the planning and co-ordinating of customer events

And any experience of these would be really useful

  • Manage key customer launches with Senior BDM team, creating tailored communication plans for each customer to ensure a maximum engagement at launch and for the following 3 months to improve scheme penetration

  • Determine most effective customer messages and trigger points

  • Keep all customer communications up to date and reviewing on an annual basis following audit process

  • Work closely with the BDM and ADM team to improve penetration rates within the customer base

  • Take ownership of key department marketing projects and campaigns from execution to delivery, liaising with relevant partners and suppliers to ensure deadlines and budgets are met

  • Working with Customer and Partner Marketing Manager and Director to assist in B2C marketing strategy and future marketing activity planning

  • Become a Salesforce superuser working to manage campaigns, assets and using the system to plan events and activities

  • Line management of New Business Marketing Execs
