LOCATION(S): London
HOURS: Full-time
SALARY:  £70,929 - £78,810
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites or with clients.

About this opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join our newly formed Sports, Entertainment & Entrepreneurs team in Commercial Banking Coverage, Direct as a Relationship Manager. We provide outstanding support for businesses within the sector, working closely with Private Banking to provide a joined-up proposition to these clients, and we're passionate about looking after our customers.

Our fast-paced team builds client relationships with Sports, Entertainment & Entrepreneur businesses, delivering an outstanding experience to clients and prospects, supporting their business ambitions whilst maintaining strong risk behaviours. The role is based in London, with some national travel for client meetings as appropriate.

This role will play a crucial part in crafting and developing the proposition for this new team, in collaboration with collaborators across BCB and the wider Group.

What will you be doing?

  • Support and co-ordinate the SME onboarding and servicing of Sports, Entertainment and Entrepreneur clients alongside the Private Banking team. Clients are onboarded and managed within the SME segment.
  • As these are high profile clients, we are passionate about providing exceptional service. You'll maintain a robust and tailored contact strategy with your clients.
  • Proactively identifying and delivering Business and Commercial Banking solutions to meet the business needs of these clients - including day-to-day banking, payments, deposits and cards and lending.
  • Risk management will also form an important part of the role given the nature of the businesses and their ultimate owners.
  • You’ll be a member of the project working group to help inform and develop options for the longer-term working relationship between BCB and Private Banking in the Sports, Entertainment and Entrepreneurs sector.

Why Lloyds Banking Group?

We’re on an exciting journey to transform our Group and the way we’re shaping finance for good. We’re focusing on the future, investing in our technologies, workplaces, and colleagues to make our Group a great place for everyone. Including you.

What You’ll Need

  • Previous experience in a banking environment is essential, with strong portfolio management skills. You’ll be confident building client relationships, driving customer value, and establishing trust at every interaction—supported by excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients.
  • Demonstrable sales experience, including the ability to proactively engage new clients, build relationships, and drive business growth. You should be confident in analysing and interpreting financial statements.
  • Proactive and independent, able to take initiative, work efficiently without close supervision, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective collaboration skills to work within your own team and across departments.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage a high volume of new-to-bank clients.
