Job description

Our people are our business and central to supporting our aim of Helping Britain Prosper so it's vital that we make it easy for them to use and transact when using our People systems and processes and be bold in the decisions we need to take to achieve this.

If you are looking for a new challenge where you can grow your skills and focus on making LBG a great place to work, read on...

What you'll be doing

Your role will be to identify and deliver improvements to our existing people processes, systems, and procedures. We'll need you to provide input to the development and automation of processes across the organization. This will often include supporting the delivery of business change programs by working collaboratively with people from different teams and business areas. You will need to keep yourself up to date with the latest system enhancements in order to provide advice and guidance to your stakeholders to support their business needs. Using the skills and knowledge you develop to analyse problems and issues, make bold recommendations to resolve them and implement.

About You

You'll be self-motivated, collaborative, resilient, and your ability to challenge will be vital to ensure that our processes and procedures are aligned to our People-first Value. You will be involved with working on one of our key people systems.  Any experience using Workday would be great but not critical. You'll need evidence that you:

  • Can deliver high-quality solutions that meet your stakeholders' needs, in challenging timescales.
  • Have strong problem solving skills in order to investigate and analyse system issues and provide solution options.
  • Can juggle multiple pieces of work at any one time, be able to adapt solutions where necessary, and still be able to deliver on time.
  • Take personal responsibility for delivering against agreed priorities, handling your own workloads, and letting others know if you need additional support.
  • Have an active development plan which looks to broaden your existing skills and knowledge and how this knowledge has supported your decision-making and/or solutions that you can recommend.
  • You embrace change and be open to new ideas. The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, processes, and client needs is crucial in the ever-evolving field of Workday.

What you get in return

We're dedicated to giving you opportunities to learn, grow, and develop to help maximize your potential. As a team, we're committed to helping our business reflect the diversity of the customers and communities we serve.
