Job description

JOB TITLE: Senior Proposition Manager - 6 month Fixed Term Contract.

SALARY: £76,100pa to £89,640pa (pro rata for the contract length).

LOCATION: Edinburgh.

HOURS: 35 hours, full time.

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at the listed hub.

The Longstanding business area are responsible for the customer proposition for over 1.8 million customers who hold Life, Pension, Investment & Protection policies across the Scottish Widows, Clerical Medical and Halifax brands. We are part of the Chief Customer Office and Longstanding Propositions business area in Insurance, Pensions & Investments division (Lloyds Banking Group).

The Strategy Team have responsibility for developing our data strategy, transforming the digital experience and for driving simplification opportunities.  This is a great opportunity to join our team at an exciting time, as we're part way through a major customer service improvement programme. The role is six-month fixed contract.

Your accountabilities will include:

  • Developing and managing key digital deliverables for our customers and intermediaries as part of the wider improvement programme.

  • Supporting investigation of opportunities to leverage AI capabilities to drive simplification in the business.

  • Managing cross-business areas resource to support projects.

  • Inputting into wider Strategy Team activities.

About you

  • Good core product knowledge across life, pensions and investments

  • Experience of developing and implementing digital solutions for end customers and intermediaries

  • Background in transforming customer journeys

  • Excellent communication and relationship skills

  • Business and commercial insight and know-how

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Able to hit the ground running

  • Experience of working on end customer and intermediary solution is preferable
