Job description

  • JOB TITLE: Senior Analyst, Trade Services
  • SALARY: £32,395
  • LOCATION: Brindley Place, Birmingham
  • HOURS: Full-time
  • WORKING PATTERN: Due to the technicalities of the role and the side-by-side training required, there is an expectation for 100% office attendance for at least the first 6 months. Once training has concluded, the role will align with our hybrid work style, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Delivering outstanding service supporting our clients to succeed in growing their international footprint and expanding their business.
  • Carry out a range of complex technical processes and customer service activities to support international and domestic trade transactions together with related finance agreements for customers across all business market segments and heritages.
  • The delivery of excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment - serving as the primary point of contact for clients and internal colleagues, providing timely updates on transactions, and offering technical support to clients.
  • Reviewing and processing a variety of demanding processes and technical tasks with precision and good judgment, while ensuring adherence to all group-specific policies and procedures.
  • Performing detailed checks on complex technical transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintaining an in-depth understanding and application of Anti Money Laundering procedures relevant to trade services.
  • Taking a proactive role in driving Continuous improvement identifying opportunities for waste removal.
  • Embracing innovation and skills of the future to support our digitisation agenda
  • Embody and promote Lloyds Banking Group Values and Behaviours, encouraging a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

What you’ll need

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Active stakeholder management.
  • Digital Literacy- Embracing digital tools and innovation to support digitisation efforts
  • Collaboration – Working effectively with internal colleagues and promoting a team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to Detail – Performing detailed checks on transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Process Management – Ability to carry out and review complex technical processes with precision

And any experience of these would be really useful

  • Trade Finance Knowledge – Understanding of international and domestic trade transactions and related finance agreements.
  • AML Compliance –knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering procedures and regulatory compliance.
