About this opportunity

At Lloyds Banking Group we’re redefining our marketing – adopting the latest technologies whilst investing heavily in our systems, capabilities, and people. We’re striving to lead the industry sector in Digital Marketing, and customer experience, especially in the creation of needs-based content marketing and digital journeys.

The next phase is the expansion of our team responsible for the strategic optimisation of website content across our retail banking brands, as we seek to realign content based on customer needs and brand led experience rather than the product centric approach we take today.

As an Assistant Marketing Manager you'll:

  • Drive Strategic Delivery: Lead the development and execution of the strategic plan for content marketing, focusing on enhancing customer journeys and optimising retail site search functionality.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams including full funnel, accelerator marketing, digital engagement, and product teams to align efforts.
  • Champion Data-Driven Decisions: Use customer experience insights and performance data to inform decisions, ensuring continuous improvement of web experiences.
  • Support Campaign Alignment: Help shape content recommendations that align with core marketing campaigns and critical initiatives, grounded in customer journey data and planning principles.
  • Measure and Optimise: Analyse performance data from PWS briefs and site search engagement, define measurement approaches, and share insights to refine future strategies.
  • Enhance Processes and Governance: Contribute to planning and prioritisation improvements, uphold risk and approval processes, and foster strong relationships across teams to ensure timely and effective delivery.
