Lloyds Private Banking helps wealthy clients achieve their financial goals and aspirations through offering Banking, Specialist Lending, Investments, Estate Planning & Trust services, tailored to individual client circumstances. Within Private Banking, the Key Clients team manage the wealthiest and highest profile individuals and families of the Bank. It’s a truly exciting time to be working in Private Banking as we expand our capability and work across the Bank to source new relationships through our Retail and Commercial Banking franchises.

We’re seeking experienced, organized, enthusiastic people, used to working at pace and using their judgment, who want to stretch and develop their skills working in our client focused area. Key Clients manage clients with a minimum value of £20m so you'll need to have experience of dealing with Ultra High Net Worth clients, how they structure their wealth through trusts, family investment companies, charities and property, and importantly have a strong understanding of their commercial activity which typically provides their source of funds.

About us

Join us and, as well as making a difference to customers, you’ll enjoy a fulfilling career where you’re free to be yourself. Great colleagues, transforming workspaces, hybrid working and a wide variety of career opportunities – you’ll find them all here.

What will you do in this role:

  • Build, own and manage a portfolio of Ultra High Net Worth Clients, acting as the main point of contact and providing first class standards of service.

  • Work closely within a tight team of relationship managers supported by dedicated assistants.

  • Constantly seek opportunities to engage with clients through a rigorous client contact programme which will include thought leadership and thematic events.

  • Support clients in vulnerable circumstances, and solve complex problems, role modelling a flexible, innovative approach to identifying solutions that will delight our clients.

  • Work closely with stakeholders across Lloyds Banking Group maintaining a strong network to deliver for our customers.

What essential skills/experience are we looking for?

  • Skilled and proficient Relationship Managers with experience in the Ultra High Net Worth client market (you are likely to have been in role for at least five years).

  • The role is as a banking only manager as we do not give financial advice. We have a joint venture with Schroders plc which includes Schroders Personal Wealth and Cazenove Capital, giving our clients access to a market leading investment firm.

  • Understanding of the Financial market and industry, working with our preferred partner firms in tax, insurance, legal and investment.

  • Skilled at planning and prioritizing work to meet client commitments.

  • A collaboration role model who is skilled at building networks and stakeholder management

  • Action Orientation, and the desire to embrace new opportunities and tough challenges at pace, delivering with high energy, and enthusiasm.
