  • JOB TITLE: Senior Analyst - Trade Services
  • SALARY: £29,460
  • LOCATION(S): Birmingham, Brindley Place
  • HOURS: Full-time
  • WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Birmingham office.

This role is essential in supporting and servicing Lloyds Trade customers delivering outstanding customer service that meets the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

It’s an exciting time for us, we're talking about the people, systems/processes, new technologies (including AI and machine learning) and implementation of new solutions we'll need to evolve our business to meet more client needs and keep pace with industry changes

Key Accountabilities

  • Delivery of excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment - serving as the primary point of contact for clients and internal colleagues, providing timely updates on transactions, and offering technical support to clients.
  • Actively identify complaints with a focus on resolution and route cause to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and issues - ensuring that all client interactions are documented properly, logging client requests where applicable.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding and application of Anti Money Laundering procedures relevant to trade services.
  • Take a proactive role in driving PTG and Continuous improvement identifying opportunities for waste removal
  • Embrace innovation and skills of the future to support our digitisation agenda
  • Embody and promote Lloyds Banking Group Values and Behaviours, encouraging a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

What you’ll need

  • Knowledge of the cycle of trade products (Guarantees, Letters of Credit and Documentary Collections)
  • Telephony experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Complaint handling experience
  • Adaptability to change (Digital literacy)

And any experience of these would be really useful

  • Previous working experience in a Trade Finance role.
