JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)
SALARY£70,929 - £86,691
LOCATION(S):  Edinburgh, Bristol, Halifax & Leeds
HOURS: Full-time – 35 hours per week
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid – 40% (or two days) in one of our office sites)

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy frontend services using JavaScript/Typescript and React.

  • Build and manage responsive web applications ensuring cross-browser compatibility.

  • Apply DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins)

  • Work with design teams to implement UI/UX best practices.

  • Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure secure, scalable solutions.

  • Mentor junior engineers and support community knowledge sharing.

  • Lead, direct and shape approaches to solving technical challenges and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Build efficient and reusable front-end systems and abstractions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
We’re looking for engineers who are technically strong, collaborative, and eager to grow.

Essential:

  • Frontend:  React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and other modern frontend frameworks.
  • DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Harness), Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).

  • Automation: Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Pact, etc.).

Desirable:

  • Applitools, React Testing Library, Jest, Cypress, and Playwright is highly desirable.
