JOB TITLE:  Associate Director, Asset Finance Sales
SALARY: Competitive package available
LOCATIONS: Bristol
HOURS: Full-Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

The Asset Finance Team plays a key part of the cashflow solution for many trading businesses and is a growth product both within LBG and the UK generally, making this an exciting area to develop a career within the wider Group!

The Role:

We have an opportunity to join our team, as one of our Associate Directors, dealing in the SME sector (£5-£25m turnover bracket). This role requires a strong profile in the marketplace to identify and deliver high quality new business opportunities, as well as a collaborative working style to deliver a range of Asset Finance products for new clients and from an existing portfolio of clients. You'll be an experienced dealmaker who can develop, manage and drive business performance in order to successfully compete in the Asset Finance sector.

What would you be doing?

  • Maintaining and carrying out an agreed business plan to include strategy for new Client acquisition and relationship management.
  • Demonstrate and utilise expert product knowledge to maximise delivery across all channels.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the coverage colleagues and key business introducers to ensure effective delivery
  • Accountable for the structuring of financial solutions and negotiation of all deals.
  • Build and maintain an effective external network to ensure maximisation of opportunity across all channels.

What you’ll need:

You’re likely to have solid business to business experience within financial services and will ideally come from a Commercial Finance, leasing, asset finance background with sound business development and sales experience.

  • Experience in client face to face sales negotiations
  • Strong working knowledge of Asset Finance
  • Excellent understanding of financials and cash flow
  • Outstanding business development skills
  • Ability to write detailed credit reports, as well as analyse, draw insights and make financial services recommendations
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to ensure business opportunities are maximised
