Job Title: Senior Product Owner (AI)

Location: Leeds, Edinburgh or London

Salary: £76,194 - £106,400 (location dependant)

Hours: Full time

Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at our Leeds, Edinburgh or London offices.

You'll be responsible for the product strategy for teams within our newly formed Agentic AI lab, using your innovation to push the boundary of discovery for the industry into the potential of AI technologies in the investing experience. Leading the creation and development of the strategy and Roadmap for advanced Artificial Intelligence systems, you’ll utilise your innovation in emerging technology, knowledge of artificial intelligence systems and the latest market trends to deliver robust AI solutions in our investment experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work with your team to develop advanced AI system strategies within a financial institution, utilising market leading technology within a multi-agent framework
  • Champion innovation across the team through remaining on trend with the latest AI technologies and standards and challenging your peers to strive for perfection!
  • Navigate across a complex enterprise with the help of your team to ensure you have access to the expertise and technology needed for your product to succeed in the market.
  • Develop a detailed and multi-year product Roadmap to turn your strategy into reality - guiding our engineering teams through iterative and agile development with the flexibility and autonomy to prioritise and manage your product backlog
  • Embedding strategy in the development and ownership of key goals and turning points for the product's success and delivery

What you’ll need:

  • Strong Product Leadership: Confirmed product leadership experience with a record of successful product delivery, driving a strategy and vision to market within the UK financial services sector. You've developed solutions to long-term business needs by anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities. Familiar with navigating risk and compliance concerns in a highly regulated environment is preferential but not essential for this role
  • AI Experience: Experience and knowledge of enterprise AI systems, and an ability to help drive push momentum in deliver of these within a complex organisation. You're confident to input and challenge in technical conversations, leading the team towards a solution that matches their business need
  • Innovation Approach: Being a transformational leader with a track-record of being a strong advocate for technology transformation and engineering excellence, your willingness to challenge the status quo and push to lead the market in technology is desired.
  • Agile Methodologies: A history, or strong awareness, of agile methodologies and how these can be applied to complex deliveries in a large scale enterprise.
