Job description

What are the requirement of the role:

  • Production of accurate and insightful monthly management information packs and governance MI for Flash versus Final, P&L, Balance sheet, margins reporting etc.

  • Delivery of all structure change requests in line with Governance processes for all ledger change windows during the year (review and verification of SRF's, RAFs; ARF's etc.), ensuring owning advanced planning and deadline setting.

  • Delivery focused and thrives working in a time pressured environment over month end.

  • Demonstrate proficient stakeholder management skills and ability to create effective working relationships across multiple Finance teams.

  • Undertake variance analysis and adequate self review and challenge of outputs.

  • Proactively challenge processes to support a culture of continuous improvement and a curious mind-set.

  • Supporting a robust control framework for all processes within remit.

  • Build strong, sustainable relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Undertaking ad hoc work and investigation arising from stakeholder requests.

  • Support and get involved in wider teams and GFS deliverables and initiatives.

  • Ad hoc analysis to meet the requirements of the senior team and Group Finance.

You'll be looking to build on the finance professional career you've already started and be able to bring the following skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Good technical and numerical skills, including Microsoft Excel.

  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technical experience includes Financial Reporting/ Financial Control specific accountabilities e.g. Month End, MI/Reporting and Reconciliations & Control.

  • Competent user of Finance systems and software.

Desirable:

  • Qualified accounted or progressing through professional qualifications.

  • Experience working within a Finance function, within a large, complex organisation.
