JOB TITLE: Business Manager (Homes Platform)

SALARY: The salary banding is £59,850 - £66,500

LOCATION: Leeds or Halifax

HOURS: 35 hours, full time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

An exciting role has come up in our Homes Platform!

This role sits within the Business Management function for Homes. The team are responsible for the oversighting Platform Performance, Strategy, Finance, Resource and Risk.

What will I be doing?

  • Utilising data and insight to support decision making as well as a strong ability to interpret insights and communicate the narrative behind the numbers

  • Self-managing workload and multiple priorities

  • Building trust cross-functionally and work closely with relevant partners

  • Tackling hugely variable and exciting topics, making a real difference to the Platform

  • Highly motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve individual and collective goals and continuous improvement

What you’ll need

  • An Analytical approach. Strong experience of Microsoft Excel. Working with data across a range of applications, Excel, Power BI

  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment with a hardworking and dynamic team

  • Adaptive to change, able to quickly grasp new ideas and the impacts on local processes

  • Have ability to use own judgement and tenacity to drive work forward with minimal issues

  • Influence positively - demonstrating Group values and behaviours and encouraging this in team members

  • Experience of building strong, trusting relationships and be energised by interacting with people - coaching and supportive in their approach

  • Agile/Platform Change Framework (PCF) and platform workings is beneficial but not necessary
