We have an exciting opportunity to join the Everyday Banking team to work on setting the strategy for LBG’s Core Banking product and proposition. • Working with product teams to define, align and implement simplification of the existing product sets to facilitate ultimate decommissioning of the current Core Banking System (CBS).

  • Defining the principles and requirements to enable all business units to achieve future target state technology.

  • Defining migration and co-existence strategy from a business context, engaging other Business Units to realise the potential of Thought Machine as a capability.

  • Engaging in regulator engagement alongside GCOO: assessment of Consumer outcomes, potential foreseeable harms, and readiness for transition states.

About you

  • Strong understanding and demonstrable experience of the UK Financial Services Market, and scope for technological transformation.

  • A passion and understanding of technology to drive the future of the Group’s Core Banking strategy.

  • Proven experience of developing and implementing a product, customer and digital strategy at scale.

  • Product Owner Experience: Leading the creation and evolution of digital first proposition. Experience in supervising benefits realization across customer, commercial, and technology changes.

  • Experience working closely with collaborators up to director level. You’ll be adapt at dealing with ambiguity and working across a complex organisation and wide collaborator group.

  • You’ll have strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal).
