This multi-million-pound initiative has a new partnership with a leading FinTech company and is looking for talented individuals who are interested in working with new and exciting technologies, such as Cloud and Software as a Service (SaaS).

What you’ll need…

  • Awareness of the software development lifecycle, preferably within an Agile environment, with some exposure through academic projects, internships, or personal work.
  • Introductory knowledge of development best practices and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) concepts, with familiarity with tools like Jenkins or similar.
  • Ability to write simple, maintainable code and a willingness to learn how to build modular and testable applications.
  • Willingness to learn how to troubleshoot and diagnose issues using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or Kibana.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.

  • Eagerness to learn from others, with openness to feedback and mentoring.

And any experience of these would be useful…

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as IBM Cloud, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Basic understanding or interest in container technologies like Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  • Awareness of testing methodologies such as Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).
  • An interest in the financial services sector, especially in areas like Faster Payments, BACS, or the Image Clearing System.
