JOB TITLE: Technical Platform Specialist (Mobile Devices)

SALARY: £70,929- £78,810

LOCATION: Leeds Wellington Place

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. Our Platform anchor day is Monday with flexibility around the other office day(s)

A Technical Platform Specialist working in the Mobile Feature team will design, implement, manage and support Microsoft Intune environments across iOS and Android platforms including Mobile Security tools and Device manufacturers management tools! This includes configuring policies, managing device enrolment, deploying and configuring Mobile applications, and ensuring compliance with organisational security standards across a Corporate and Personally owned Mobile estate!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, manage and support Microsoft Intune solution for mobile device provisioning, configuration, and compliance across iOS and Android platforms.

  • Develop and enforce mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) policies that align with financial industry compliance and security standards.

  • Manage integrated Mobile tools and optimise their use in the management of the iOS and Android platforms.

  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and engineering teams to support a mobile strategy for employees.

  • Monitor mobile environment health and performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimizations.

  • Design and implement automated workflows and monitoring solutions for managing iOS and Android mobile environments.

  • Provide technical support and leadership in troubleshooting issues related to Intune, device enrolment, policy enforcement, and application deployment.

  • Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures for Intune administration and usage.

  • Stay ahead of with Intune updates, mobile OS changes, and best practices in enterprise mobility.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience managing Microsoft Intune in enterprise environments, specifically for iOS and Android.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise mobility, zero trust architecture, and conditional access policies.

  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

  • Experience in using DevOps tools.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Relevant certifications e.g., Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator, Apple Certified Support and IT Professional, are highly desirable
