Job description

You'll have a unique opportunity to be part of an ambitious team whose purpose is to drive our tech modernisation agenda and enable Lloyds Banking Group to become the biggest Fintech in the UK.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in observability, specifically Cloud focused, a passion for technology and commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

What you’ll do
Using your diagnostic skills, you'll analyse technical information from a range of sources, providing highly effective solutions and strategies for improving both service and processes in complex environments.


Through the installation and maintenance of products and services, you'll make sure our high standards, policies and service levels are adhered to.


Alongside this, you'll be analysing application and performance, review existing deployments and identifying gaps or improvements.


You'll feel excited by evaluating, planning and leading on new Systems Management technologies and initiatives, ensuring that we're keeping our customer's interests at the heart of everything we do.
Inputting into risk processes and conforming with SOX and ITEC processes.


As a passionate subject matter expert, you'll mentor and nurture junior team members, developing their knowledge and skills.

What you’ll need

  • Experience on the pipeline delivery and management of Dynatrace on cloud platforms
  • Previous experience of design/delivery solutions for Dynatrace implementations / configuration integrations / APIs.
  • Cloud DevOps tooling skills – GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps & Spinnaker.
  • Scripting skills across a number of languages such as PERL , BASH, SHELL, HTML, XML, C, SQL, JavaScript, JSP, XSLT, Python & Jython
  • We believe that collaboration is crucial, and you’ll feel the same. You’ll be excited to work with a wide range of colleagues, using keen influencing skills to bring them on the journey with you.
  • You'll be proactive, balancing your workload and competing priorities, identifying next steps whilst helping gather support within senior management.

    It would be great if you also had
  • Technical knowledge of Traditional Platforms UNIX, Linux, Windows & VMWare.
  • Networking skills e.g. TCP/IP, SOAP, WAN Infrastructure, LAN i.e. switches / routers / firewalls / VPN's etc, HTTP / HTTP's.
