JOB TITLE: Integrator – Smarter Journeys Lab
LOCATION: Manchester
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in one of our office hubs mentioned above
We’re the Smarter Journeys Lab, an integral part of the Colleague Channels Platform. Our mission is to enhance customer journeys and drive growth through innovative digital solutions. Our product range includes services such as Fraud Self Service, Diary Management, and Workforce Planning, all designed to create seamless experiences for customers and improve colleague efficiency. We’re proud of our inclusive and innovative culture, with a strong focus on continuous learning.
We’re committed to leveraging AI, automation, and advanced technology to deliver real value for customers and the business. Over the next few years, we’ll be rolling out pioneering solutions across Knowledge Management, Complaints, Mortgage Journeys, and Back-Office improvements, while strengthening our core platforms such as Appointment Booking and PEGA. Develops the sequence for integration-related tasks in collaboration with the Product Owner (PO) and aligns these tasks with the Lab backlog.
Catalogues and handles dependencies between the Lab and other teams to ensure detailed execution.
Collaborates with external collaborators to ensure alignment, enabling the Lab to deliver efficiently and achieve bold goals.
Identifies obstacles to delivery and addresses them when feasible, advancing them to product owners or Lab leadership as vital.
Serves as a bridge between the supplier (3rd Party) and crucial customers within the business, ensuring detailed coordination.
Manages complex and high-risk implementations requiring integration between multiple parties (internal/external) to ensure safe and successful delivery.
Owns the integration process and implementation events for shared infrastructure, like Upgrading the Mainframe, coordinating parties to ensure successful change.
Provides expertise (not content) for governance activities owned by the Product Owner, such as PRIA, for changes across multiple labs.
Coordinates across multiple teams to develop medium-term and/or long-term work schedules that help the organisation achieve its priorities and fulfil its business plans.
Examines regular incidents using existing regulatory and compliance processes. Solves immediate compliance issues and advises senior colleagues on complex problems.
Responds to individual and team objectives and invests in improving personal performance by growing own skills and capabilities, mentoring others when required.
Experience within a technology change environment, working with regulatory, business and software engineering teams, particularly with AI.
Ability to co-ordinate highly complex change across multiple teams and own the dependencies for complex, cross-organisation, changes to deliver great customer outcomes
Passionate and inspiring leadership skills
Ability to work with teams using an agile delivery method (e.g. scrum / kanban)
Strong stakeholder management skills to support your own, and the teams, work
Strong governance mentality to ensure that complex change is delivered safely
Ability to think ‘big’ but value incremental improvements and trust teams to deliver on their commitments
